The history and Civilization department concerns with studying the past to understand the present and predict the future. Moreover, advancing and refining research skills, and developing criticism and analysis in the field of History and Civilization studies. The department is also in charge of providing students with various historical and civilized knowledge and helping them to understand their nation's history and civilization to preserve local culture and Arab Islamic identity. During his study in the department, the student earns the needed skills to keep pace with new trends in scientific research. The department prepares generation qualified academically and occupationally in order to serve the community and meet labor market needs.
