Goals

  • The Information Technology Unit targets to activate information technology services along the faculty to serve the educational process, academic staff members, students, and employees.
  • The unit is in charge of the following deeds in coordination with university's central projects:
  1. Activation and maintenance of information network.
  2. Tracking the technical network's technical usage and provide technical support for all users. 
  3. Solving all breakdowns in devices and networks and coordinating with the university's network information, administrative information systems, e-learning center, and library mechanization project. 
  4. Offering Wifi in faculty's open and closed areas to be available for students and academic staff members. 
  5. Updating devices' software.
  6. Activating e-mail addresses for students and academic staff members. 
  7. Supervising on faculty's portal and activating its' services. 
  8. Using information technology in the educational process and scientific research.
  9. Offering electronic services that are present on the portal. 
  10. Solving any electronic problem may face the academic staff members and students using technical support platform to contact directly with technical support team to solve the issue directly.
