My dear students

Constructing such a faculty in a region specializing in Arabic, Foreign languages, and Social sciences. Besides, innovating new departments like the Turkish language department, Demographic studies department, Interpretation department, Survey, Geographic Information systems, Remote sensing department, Geomatics, Artificial intelligence, and Translation and Interpretation in the German language was a must to continue the development process in this pioneering strategically region.

Inauguration of departments of English or Chinese languages or Libraries and Information or Sociology or History and Civilization or Geography, Geographical systems, and Survey or Philosophy or Demographic studies or Eastern languages or any other department was not only to graduate a group of specialists but to be opened to the other world. This enables university’s faculties from scientific communication and human and scientific development using advanced bases.

In the event of passing more than 16 years since establishing The Faculty of Arts and Humanities, I would love to thank each member who participated in constructing and promoting this pioneer faculty.

Lest we forget the effort done by the previous Deans and the heads of scientific and managerial departments. Currently, the faculty is seeking to develop, and apply quality guidelines, and to be a role model in applying those guidelines including departments’ hierarchy, courses’ specifications, quality controls in courses, education methods, exams, community services, and more. Congratulations to all faculty newcomers and old students for their new academic year, hoping you all best of luck.
