Overview
Lately, Egyptian society has witnessed changes on all levels and fields. Sure those changes may leave many effects on the current social, cultural, economic, and political situation. According to the functional integrated system between the University and the society and upon the survey done for civil society authorities and the Governmental sector represented in the Ministry of Education, Ministry of Social Solidarity, Ministry of Youth and Sports, Ministry of Health, and other sectors related to the social work and development in the Canal and Sinai region. This program targets to prepare cadres able to deal with social and population problems in the Canal and Sinai region. The program combines two divisions student chooses from them by the third year:
- Sociology division
- Anthropology division
Goals
- To provide students with theoretical and methodological knowledge that enables them to advance their understanding and analyzing skills related to phenomena, social and population problems upon scientific principles.
- To develop students' dialogue and group discussion abilities by relying on teaching new methods and technologies.
- To link theoretical knowledge with field evidence that facilitates students' understanding of Egyptian society reality. Besides establishing induction and inference abilities.
